Buna is a purpose-driven brand focused on sustainability and innovation. We collaborate with restaurants, cafés, and coffee-based businesses to collect used coffee grounds that would otherwise go to waste. These grounds are then transformed into high-quality, eco-conscious beauty products—proving that great design and meaningful impact can go hand in hand.

The creative motivation behind this project stems from a desire to turn everyday waste into meaningful impact. In a world where sustainability is no longer optional, I saw an opportunity to reimagine discarded coffee grounds as a resource—not just refuse. Buna was created to challenge the way we think about waste, proving that design and innovation can work hand-in-hand to inspire conscious consumption. It’s about more than just beauty products—it’s about creating a brand that reflects responsibility, creativity, and positive change in every step of the process.

The Buna Box empowers customers to take part in sustainability by returning their used coffee grounds.
